This hall or sofa table was fabricated from an old hay ring I had in my pasture for a number of years.  It was modified into its smaller, rectangular orientation.  The hinge component contained in the hay ring was incorporated into the table and the glass top is a 1/2" thick tempered glass.  The weathered orange paint from the original hay ring was preserved as part of the rustic feel to the piece.
